Got the code, first thing was check the gas cap, it had a cracked rubber gasket, replaced, and PO441 code disappeared on its own the next day. I am thinking Woot!

Not to be, code comes back a day later, so I get an OEM emission engine control unit on top of engine, pop it in, bingo.

This little unit has been wonky for awhile I guess, just not bad enough to throw a code. The light indicators in the dash where kinda slow to vanish upon startup for months, and the engine ran a smidgen rough at idle.

Now it is smooth as butter, gets better gas mileage and the indicator lights vanish immediately upon startup now.

Glad it wasn't the charcoal canister.

Total to fix with OEM parts $81. Gas cap dealer ($26), OEM emission control module Ebay ($55 shipped).

    15 minutes fix.

    YMMV.

    Po441 interesting.

Po442 seems to be more spacific to loose/leaky gas caps across many makes of cars from what I've experianced

90910-12262 or 90910-AC001 (the later is the new superseded part number).
