If you don't mind me asking. What does that cost to get them powder coated?

$40 a wheel, well worth it if you ask me, powder coat doesnt scratch or chip like a rattle can job or even a good paint job

But if it does, you really have no way of touching them up.

    The only trade off IMO

Were your wheels pitted/chipped before you had them powder coated? Right now I have a problem with the wheels on my new TRD Sport. I need a little "ammo" for when I talk again with the Toyota rep.

By the way... I do like your powdered coated wheels. May be doing the same in a couple of years...unfortunately.

naw these wheels were only on my girlfriends brothers 2010 for about 2000 miles there are basically brand new so there is no chips or dings in the wheels

im gonna paint them to match (hopefully) but i plan on leaving the chrome toyota emblems in the middle chrome plated so it will be the only chrome on the wheel

Only issue...when I get them balanced it takes longer and I have to request that they put the weights inside so the paint doesn't get chipped

    .
    forgive my edit ;)
I had my Avid Lightbar powder coated with 3 baked coats,
    Primer, Color, then Clear.
Came out great, but cost more than the lightbar.
The powdercoater, who's been doing it over 20 years,
told me it WILL still chip and scratch.
Granted your wheels won't take impacts like the front of the vehicle @ 60mph,
    But remember it's just plastic.
He recommended "Mothers" Mag & Aluminum Polish for Scratches

And this is the other caveat.^^^

I like the wheels and you got a good price.
All in all a good choice on your part
