No interference with the transmission cross member. Seems like you need the front link kit, the new steering box beef, the universal shock mounts, and you can take it from there.

Basically. I just need to do the minimum to get it swapped and back on the road as its my daily. Then I can add to it on weekends and get it ready for wheeling.

It's a one shot deal. When you pull the trigger, it's on.... The only ways to do it in a timely manner is either to pump it out yourself quickly, and end up with something that is under engineered, or buy what works. Not trying to discriminate over your project. Just want you to know these trucks are tricky, aggravating, and time consuming.

Oh no I think you misunderstood me. Im going to buy a kit to swap my truck. I just need it rolling again quickly. So the less I have to do in one go the better. If the stock tranny crossmember wont interfere then I will leave it till I have the time to build a new one.

so now here is the long over due update. the cantilever suspension is done and has been tested for bind and clearance. she preforms flawlessly on 40s with around 25" frame height. I measured 18" of travel yesterday and was limited by the floor.IMG_1166_zpsf3606cfc_dba561ac595546f421ced8c797275a97c8c1428f.jpg

We have a few things taken care of up front as well. the front is tore down and ready for paint. every thing has been finish welded and the air bump cans have been put it. The FOAs we used for mock up were ditched in favor of some better quality equipment

    IMG_1209_zpsf8ce0cfd_f61d8b950188364b242e18b2034be1f8161c54bf.jpgIMG_1210_zps81289b52_1d2a4b32b3134d972e3cf5c6c07afa742ac42101.jpg

we also had a nice mishap in the shop. our TIG died. this put us in a predicament and we stumbled into a retarded good deal on a Miller Syncerwave 351 with cooler to replace it. this thing is awesome! I think Ray Charles could TIG weld with this thing

a little mini update. The Fabrication is complete. we have tested pretty much everything. So tear down has begun. we have some parts we are waiting on still (gear and bearing kit) and the Diffs will be getting new ARBs and gears. 300M axel shafts will be ordered from Brannik for the rear axel and every thing will be painted. we are going to paint the body in place. hood, doors, tail gate and the fiber glass can be shot in a booth but the cab will be shot in place.
one the paint is done and all the frame and chassis parts are painted we will move back to reassemble and finally plumb it up. When we have some progress worth taking a pic we will get some new pictures up.
on a side note if you wanna keep up with whats going on in the shop we are pushing ahead hard on two buggies at the moment while T-Rex is in a holding pattern. Check out Dynamite Design's "Smokey" build and our ultra 4 build on either Hardline or Nc4x4.
Smokey is a 2 seater buggy we did not build that burned and we are making it into a 4 seater…the ultra 4 build we are calling the RRTT is a very high budget build and is starting from the ground up

thought I would give a little progress update. After all it has been a while. The last Photos I posted up showed the rear flex testing and that was pretty much the final step in mock up. the truck has been completely tore down to completely remove all rust or any deterioration and to ensure the top welds on all brackets on the frame are solid. then comes sand blasting and epoxy painting the frame, axels, and other suspension components. the frame and other parts that are being epoxy painted or powder coated where dropped off last night and the body in its completely stripped down state will go out tomorrow morning. hers a few pic for those who prefer visuals
