Received the mounting bracket from @pgfitzgerald. Sure made for a very solid install in my 2022 Tacoma Limited.

Hey I just did this install today.. 2 extra large Zipties put it right where you have it. That thing aint moving. it was a bear trying to mount that unit somewhere without interfering or attaching to existing wires. I bought the redarc tacoma KIT. I really wish they would have thrown that stupid tiny erector set piece of metal in there to mount it. There really WAS no way to mount this well without removing that lower panel and pulling the airbag out by the 4 bolts. I tried.. It just didnt look good. Now it does.

First off, the bracket fits great. This install though, whew, I changed the spark plugs in my wife's Forester between Christmas and New Year's and thought about auditioning for Cirque du Soleil when I was done. The Forester was but mere a drink of water compared to this. I suppose avoiding the motion mechanism of the 3rd pedal added a slight degree of difficulty, then running the dial to the center console added a new pose for the yoga challenged.

I saw in some prior images people had the button head screw facing driver side, but I found it easier to place the nut driver side and the screw head toward passenger side. I also plugged the RJ45 in after the screw and nut were installed.

Scrolling through this thread, it is quite amazing the different configurations of the center and driver side switch panels.

Thank you @pgfitzgerald for the great part with hardware, quick shipping (beat big ecommerce web site with the Tow Pro), and really clear instructions with photos. Easy to install and I was able to do it without even dropping the air bag.

Damn that mounting plate is slick. Do you sell these, or have a diagram with measurements for others to fab it out? Would really like to swap my plumbing tape version out for this. Looks so much more secure.

Thanks man. I will be ordering it later today. Looks like from the comments you have found a small side gig with these brackets. Good on you, and thanks for making it. Maybe if you sell enough the manufacturer will buy your design.

I designed it for 3rd gen. Unfortunately, I don't know if it will fit any others.
