    I just got my registration renewal notice and its $294 ($6 dollars cheaper then last year):yay:. I though with this economy the registration fees would go up, quess not!. Is California the state with the highest registration fees?

    I paid almost $600 in Nevada last year when I bought mine and a little over $500 when I just moved to Arizona. Sounds like you got a good deal haha

    I quess its not that high after all. They should make a electric Tacoma, Iam sure it would be cheaper (and slower). But I think emissions is California's big concern.

    We pay many fees. The license fee accounts for the lions share of the cost during registration. In occupied Kalifornia the VLF (fee) decreases each year for 11 consecutive years.

    Mine was $465 last year if I recall... And how depressing I'll have to pay again in May. :(

    How does it work in Canada?
