    Yeah, I regeared about 8 yrs ago so I'm in a similar boat. I think I've swapped 3rds five times on this truck now.

    That’s fine.
    Highways down here are higher speed, so you’re often doing 45, 75, or 85.

    Damn I cant imagine doing 5 over in an 85 and seeing a cop and being like "I'm good, I'm only doing 90"

    Got it up to 75mph today, turns about 2600 rpm. Probably at the top of the rpm spectrum for cruising for me but by no means unsafe or screaming.

    Ha, just lose traction. This thing is pretty clunky the more I drive it. Any turning while accelerating gets it moving. I'm not complaining, I get its fully mechanical and completely different than my factory lsd. Just something to get used to

    So mine is smooth and losing traction sends power to the other tire. It shouldn’t be clunking around turns or anything.

    They say it can lock and send traction to both tires but my experience has been hit or miss with locking both.

    I agree completely. The way it's designed those worm gears should have slid over and locked that rear end 100%. No slip. That's strange, I have noise and lockage, you are quite and have the opposite. I assume your rear diff is a non elock 8.4?

    Locker is just that, LOCKED. if your not spinning both tires then it's not locked. I did see made in Taiwan on my trutrac....

    Where's a good spot for me to test my TrueTrac out? (the eLocker in my OffRoad was replaced with the 8.4" diff from a Sport and at the same time a TrueTrac was installed). Maybe you know something in RiNo...

    Sand is a good option if available. Mud is your least amount of traction situation though

    You know you could just power brake it and see if it leaves 2 black lines....my factory lsd never let me down doing burnouts

    I understand. The trutrac can be LOCKED by riding the brake. This is what I am saying. At the very least, the power should have been sent to the DS wheel.
