glue, sand, bondo, sand, primer, sand.. you get the idea :)

epoxy is just stronger, local auto part stores sell it. I believe some is called "plastic weld". I used it and its STRONG and made for plastic. hence the name

i suggest using plastic epoxy over anything else

whatever way you want really. Some people drill small holes on the inner lip and bolt/zip tie, others make some sort to mounts around the outside. I just use some zip tie holders epoxied around the outer lip. I can snap a pic tmrw when its light out if you want to see.

But really just do whatever comes to mind, its pretty easy to decide when you stare at it. lol

haha, yea. I really recommend plastic epoxy for the patch panels. Its worth the 4-5 bucks.

yeah ill go pick some up, the only downside that ive read about this mod is the bondo, some people screw up on the hardener n stuff. whats your input on that? lol ive never used bondo, i just bought the stuff today and was only worried about that, i feel confident about everything else:D

its not to bad, just make sure to eyeball the right proportion of hardner and your good. Allow for a good dry time, and use a higher grit sand paper. It make take a bit longer but will be a lot nice. And dont worry about little holes or pitts. Just apply another thin layer and sand more. It takes time but will be worth it.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I bought it at radio shack and drilled a hole in one of the switch blanks.

You can but I think you have to get it from the dealer. Something like $50-$75 for one. Not worth it. Do a search on here for switches. Lots of good info

Take your time and don't worry about driving around with no grill if it comes to that

Is the mounting bracket for the lights flush with the metal? I went to Lowes and got some longer bolts, but the lights can still swivel and move around.. Thanks for the help!

They all look great! where did people buy the new grill mesh from?

Thinking about doing mine, instead of fiber glass i think i may sacrifice a five gallon bucket and use the plastic. If your going to bondo it anyway it maybe easier to use plastic and counter sink the screw so you can bondo over the hole.

Not sure if it would work, just a thought.

I use bondo a lot for filling wood at work, normally i use a good taping knife and do two coats. one to get it smooth and one to fill any divots. little fast then sanding it down. ( normally the second coat is with wood filler because its a lot easier to sand but that wouldn't work here)
