My satoshi mod teaser pics.

I decide to do the Satoshi grill mod but with a twist, hopefully I can have it done this weekend. I decide to do a red and black carbon fiber overlay on the inside instead of just painting it wanted to do something a little different enjoy.

does the carbon fiber overlay fit perfectly on the grille?

Yea it does fit good but requires alot of work. I still have alot of sanding left to do.

What type of resin you using? Hope it has some sort of UV protectant. Did you clear? Looks great though!

 

I use polyester resin. I will spray clear once I'm done with sanding and some touch up.

 

ahh good deal. Resin seems to yellow when out in the sun for a period of time, makes it look like shiz, without clear.

 

Is that going to present an air flow problem? I bet it will look good, just hope you don't overheat.

 

Why would it have air flow issue? Its just a Satoshi mod with cabon instead of paint.

I'm gonna take it a step furthur and make a Rice Satoshi....buy some uncooked rice and super glue it to the grill surround
