Well I finally bought the new taco last night.I know some of you guys are going to give some shit for:

    A. I got rid of my 06 SWB TRD Off Road Prerunner
    B. It is a total down grade from the other truck
    C. What I'm looking at doing to it MOD wise

I'm taking it to get the tint done tomorrow and upgrade the stereo. I've been looking for new wheels and tires ( i hate whats on here ), any one have any suggestions ????
As for the other truck and why. Pretty much gas. i was only driving it back and forth to work. Plus my payment is cheaper and no one really rides with me so no need for the 4 door. Plus I want to play with it and make it nice street truck ( not slammed ). I've been looking at intakes exhaust and all that stuff. I want to put TRD stuff on it but I don't think they make anything for it really. Like I said any suggestions?

    Nice reg cab.

The standard mods are an Afe pro dry , pull 2ndary , and the fender elbow to if you want,DT headers even.

As far as tires, hmm, if you want good mpg, dont go too much wider or taller. Use tire rack's tire overview for a decent all season radial, one that might have low rolling resistance. Maybe paint the old rims and save some cha-ching.

i have no clue what any of those mods are ???? with the exception of new headers. I found some 17s I like on tirerack. but don't know anything about street tires. I've been rocking A/T for the last 8 years or so

Sorry, i could've gone in a bit of detail. The afe pro dry is just an air filter for performance, the 2ndary is a charcoal filter youll find just after the air filter, and the elbow is a piece of plastic in the right fender goin to the air filter, it slows air a bit and is meant to help drain water if i recall

yea, lots of threads on each. Alsooo , consider the intermittent wiper mod(easy), stock oem parts. There is a mod for cruise control w stock parts too, no idea if it works on 2011s.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Yours is the truck I'm hoping to buy "later" so I can have matching 4x4 and 4x2 trucks (one for summer one for winter)

i went wheel shopping today. I haven't found anything that I liked. I saw one that was a 17x7. But the guy told me it was for cars? but i went to tire rack and it said it would fit my truck WTF ?!?!?!?! another idea I had was call Toyota to see what TRD wheels will work. Well the y only have off road stuff , not street looking. I was wondering about maybe using x-runners wheels ? What do you yall think ?
