Your truck is awesome! Good to see that they're letting you mod your Taco. I was at Sembach back around 1990 with a Taco on 42" or 44" Super Swampers. It only lasted through 1 inspection cycle before they said no way. You can't "modify" a vehicle like this. I argued that I didn't modify anything, I replaced the stock parts with new parts that were also commercially manufactured specifically for the truck. In the end I was able to get away with only removing the body lift and dropping the tire size down to 36" or something around there... Then I sold the truck so I didn't have to deal with it again.

I am back in the states now, and thats where a lot of the big changes finally occured. Germany wouldn't let me do armor or suspension as it wasn't preexisting prior to the vehicles arrival. I ended up doing all of this once I got to Nebraska.

Between school and work I don’t get out much these days. Mostly just travel up and down 25th around capehart as I hit work and go home. Need to find some better places to take the truck out around here

Not much around here. I am the Vice President of just jeeps of Omaha, we make monthly runs to Tuttle creek in Kansas. Really fun place.

Nice build, really helpful as I’m planning on putting sound deadener throughout my truck as well.

On the doors - did you put the vapor barrier back on, or did you just let the final layer of mat be the new barrier?

Tuttle creek is fun, lots of rock ledges and fun climbs. Not much in the realm of camping and trails though. Kansas rocks is another fun park... a little more mild. I’m not a huge fan of Krocks but I go to their creepy crawl event every year in October. If you ever want to go wheeling look me up, I’d be more than happy to show you around.

Did you ever get your headliner out?
    How did you do it?
What material is the headliner form made out of and does it extend all the way to the edges?
About how much deadening martial did you use on the roof?
I'm planing on sound deadening my roof and recovering the headliner next week.

I didn’t take the headliner out of the cab, just dropped it in place, applied the mat, and then put it back up. Since I have a sunroof, I only used half a box of the Noico butyl mat for that area.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
    .
I just dropped mine too. If you bend it too much it might put creases in it that won't come out.

All I can is wow... wow, thanks.. your build is freaking off the chain and most of all, your step by step pics and how to remove headliner and instructions is most definitely appreciated by the TW community. THANK YOU 1000 times.
