Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
One more question if you don't mind. Is that velcro tabs in the pic?

All the best mods. On a MT too.
Has to be at least at 2016 civic worth of mods.

It's a slow process. I am building up the collection for the big install once I get back to the US. Spring next year is gonna be a big transition!

Now that you've had your iKamper for a year, what are your thoughts? positive? negative? any regrets on getting the iKamper as opposed to something else?

Regrets - yes and no. The thing is a monster and I am in a rental so I can’t install a simple lift. Because of that once it goes on it pretty much stays there until end of season.

I love the size, having so much room really helps in convincing the wife for longer trips. I like having the hard top, I feel like that is probably helping with my gas mileage long term. Now that they have local sellers. I would recommend finding someone who rents them out so you can give it a shot.

Knowing what I know now, I would still get one.

It has certainly been awhile since I have updated.. but I have some good news.

The truck is currently over the Atlantic, making its way slowly to the port and from there to its final destination in Nebraska. I have been preparing for this for some time, and have started draining my checking account already.

Just ordered all the parts for a King suspension yesterday, will hopefully have it installed by the end of February.

Have an ARE camper shell on the way as well. Going to transfer the Prinsu over to the top of it and move away from the KBVoodoo rack.

Mobtown is outfitting me from end to the other. Steel bumper up front, same in the back with the dual swing out. Full skids underneath. Everything should be here in February in time to get match to the suspension.

Gonna be an interesting couple of months!

    Just added:

    ARE CX-HD

Went with the reinforced model so I never had to worry about the RTT

Stay tuned... freight delivery scheduled for next Tuesday...

Had some questions on the internal frame. It’s aluminum and triples the load rating for the roof. Peace of mind with the RTT:

Stopping is for the weak! I’m gonna keep going until we have to sell the truck to make the mod payments!

Got the prinsu back up on the shell. Probably a small break on mods while I wait for powder coat and our second vehicle to get here.

Only thing to focus on now is my switch pro. Looks like I burned mine out, so gonna need a replacement to run accessories..

How did you mount the prinsu rack on the shell?
Also if you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay for the ARE hd series camper shell? I’m looking into getting the same exact one but just haven’t gotten any quotes on them yet.

I ordered the shell with the roof tracks, so that I could mount the prinsu rack. Just took 8 bolts and I was good to go. For the HD with the internal skeleton and the same setup I got, it ended up being right under 3K

Did some work last night/this morning. Got a decked system to make things easier going back and forth to the range:

I got really really lucky that my existing electrical and water port mods still fit. 1/8” off and I would have been hosed.

Despite the cold temperatures, on-site supervision was present during the entire install.

I think it came out good. Install was easy. I will put it through the test over the next couple of weekends to see for sure.
