The X Axis on the frame is bad. They determined if you loosen the bolts and the noise goes away, then they are bad. I received the "new" replacements. Let you know outcome.

Received and installed new SPC UCAs over the weekend, and man what a difference. No more clunking noise. Much thanks to Marie from Headstrong and the guys over at SPC for sending new UCAS.:burnrubber:

THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW YOU GOT A BAD BATCH IS TO INSTALL? AND WITH THE NEW AXIS BUSHINGS CAN YOU REPLACE JUST THE BUSHINGS? OR DO YOU NEED TO GET ALL NEW ARMS

I had same issue on my 2015, new SPC's installed this week problem solved. The installer figured out noise went away when it was loosened, said it was a warranty issue. I called SPC they admitted they had a bad batch and quickly sent out the new arms, problem solved. Unfortunately it cost me another $240 in labor to have them swapped out.

Be mindful for you guys running used SPCs. Warranty is only valid for original buyer.

Pretty easy to find them new from approved vendors for used prices if you know who to ask.

Thanks. How did y’all advise I should do the warranty claim.. through SPC or toytec..

I’m gonna need the vehicle while they are in transit until installed. Can’t send these with without something to put in there. How did that work for y’all?

ToyTec is a vendor. They have nothing to do with warranty of other brands products except facilitating the sale. After the product is yours, it’s you and the manufacturer.

I was also recommended spc.. so if it’s a bad batch and spc will own up to it and fix problem then I’m good.. speaks a lot of a company that will own its mistakes and fix the problem. we shall see..

They have a long history of quality issues, and then coming in with good customer service to make it right. I would rather see the effort put up front and saving everyone the trouble.

I purchased from ToyTec. I called ToyTec about issue, they said it was a known issue and they would SPC contact me directly. SPC called within 1 day, very pleased with responses from both.

Fairly common to hear that when one tightens down the bolts on the bushing with no load on the suspension. The mounting bolts are supposed to be tightened up with the weight of the truck on its wheels.
