    Ditto this. I took my bumper cover off myself to install the lower grillcraft. It's not that hard. Definitely not a 2.5 hr job.

    Yeah $260 is a friggin joke!! I would have slapped that guy in the face for even saying something like that!!! I would go do it for you to if you lived closer!!! I just took mine out the other day to reseal one of them and it wasnt hard for me at all.:eek:

    I would assume that the 2.5 hours was from the mechanics "book" on the time that can be charged when R/R the bumper cover and HLs. Some places aren't capable of doing anything that takes some thought about the best way to get something done, vs. the way it's "documented" to be done. As you've seen, if they can't figure that out, you might not want to go there.
