How is the car running now ?

Big fan of those 392 Challengers.

I'm looking around now planning to add a modern muscle car to the garage at some point in the next year or so.

    Sweet.

My son is really liking that Type R Civic.

I'm scared the headroom is gonna rule that 'un out for him once he's car shopping. Tall, lean, 6'9" rules out a few cars for him.

That's one of the reasons I like the Challenger so much. I need the headroom & legroom it provides. Test drives have proven that out.

Gonna try the Mustang GT ragtops soon, too.

The VW Golf GTI is a super car in many ways. Wish they'd get back to making them in the 2-door version !!!!

I have and alternate route to work that has some serious tight curves that the GTI would be hyoogely fun to run. It's like a mini-version of NC-Tennesse's Tail of The Dragon route.

A GTI would provide some serious thrills every day....both ways. I need this in my life.

The R and GTI are two different cars, the Golf R has 292hp and AWD vs the 220 in the GTI with FWD! I am a big fan of AWD, being in Canada with our winter season AWD is the only way for me. If that Honda had AWD that would be a real game changer for it, but that said it sure does perform very well as it is.

I've honestly enjoyed this car, probably more than anything I've owned. Not ready to trade it in quite yet. Just had some free time on Sunday and was out looking at new models.

It draws it fair share of thumbs up out on the road.

    These dang lowered vehicles!!
Skinned my front lip a few times on uneven pavement and the car isn't even lowered.
Can't imagine all these people with lowered cars and splitters.

Nice SP! Just about the perfect spec. As much as the Hellcat is appealing in its "fuck it all" mojo, it's too much for the street. The SP is the right amount of motor for these cars, and especially for a street car. Certainly looks like you're having fun with yours...

I had a 2014 R/T 100th Anniversary Edition with the Super Track Pack. 6M, but the "small" motor and brakes. Wasn't much of a handler-- and was by no means fast compared to even the SP-- but I could do the whole of Lime Rock's infield track entirely with the ass end out and it was pretty fantastic at lighting up the (way too skinny) rear tires at will. I miss it once-in-a-while but the pre-2015 body style's quality issues forced me to get rid of it.

Very cool!. Great car and still loving it.
Tempted sometimes to trade it in but every time I get in it, it feels like I just got off an amusement park ride.

Hard to believe they came with 245's stock.

I had no idea some of the 5.7 anniversary and some of the other "special" Challengers came with the track pack until I met a guy at the dealer that had one. Then my buddy purchased a 2015 shaker, 5.7 and it had the track pack.

Great cars. Some of the people on my SP fb page are hitting 11:8's with drag radials and back seat delete, passenger seat delete.

The "Hooniverse" guy? He's pretty funny.
A few mistakes at the beginning of the vid but a great vid nonetheless.

    Yup...that's him.

He openly acknowledges when he makes mistakes. All of the full-time automotive journalists make them, it's just a matter of who owns up to them. I only write for fun, but completely see how it's easy to mix up some numbers (be it years, hp/torque figures, etc.) when you're jumping into a different car every few days. Over-saturation of info. Regardless...he really loves the Charger/Challenger. As he should.

Congrats, that’s quite a change! Especially in the 0-60 ... you thinking about some go-fast mods yet?
