Cleared headlights, Black emblems, Painted black valence on front bumper, 2.5" 5100 Billys front, 1.5" AAL rear, Satin black TRD O/F wheels with 265/75 16 Definity M/T, Spidertrax spacers
the harsh ride a lot of guys have been talking about is in regards to using the stock spring on the billy 5100's and setting them to 2.5" to achieve lift. This compresses the spring and causes the spring rate to jump past 700#. Your 884s are somthing like 570# or somewhere in that ballpark...I can't remember off hand.

Your ride will be fine. Not harsh by any means. :) Have fun with the setup!! :)

You may want to consider OME shocks instead of billy's because they are valved to match their springs. ;)

If you already have the 5100s, you will be fine too. They will be a little firmer than the OMEs, but not harsh at all.

    Kind Regards,
    Ryan

What if you set the Billy's at stock height but keep the stock springs on? Will it be a smoother ride?

Yes it will, but you gain no lift.
