I picked up a one year old, 2024 Eddyline Sitka XT. It was a demo model in great shape and the last year the Eddyline kayaks are made in the US, the company was sold. It is the 4th Eddyline I've owned....I guess I like them.

This one has a skeg that can be deployed from the cockpit like my old Fathom had, really nice on those windy days on the water. Unlike my Fathom that had a narrow small keyhole cockpit, the Sitka ST keyhole cockpit is bigger, wider, longer and deeper so an old man with an artificial hip like me can get in and out easier.

I'm taking it out tomorrow, should be a beautiful day on the bay....75 degrees with blue skys.

That's a beautiful boat, congratulations! I've always liked the Eddyline offerings, but have never found a deal I couldn't pass up. I have Wilderness Systems Tsunami 160 that I picked up years ago off of Craigslist from someone who was motivated to part with it. Got a killer deal and it does everything I've ever asked of it so have no real reason to replace it.
