My PreRunner is a beast in the snow. Although the max amount it's seen has only been about 6-8 inches, but that was the most fun I've had in a while.

2wd in snow takes skill. Hill climbing can be done, but you better be able to get a run at it.

Any db can drive a 4x4 in snow.

My '09 (with TRAC, VSC, and A-LSD) prerunner has been the most capable snow vehicle I have ever driven. It made it through a lot of really nasty weather last winter that left lots of vehicles stuck and/or in ditches.
