Glad your cat is still alive, Back when my family's cat was still alive, she would always sleep on top of the tire while it was still warm, she never went into the engine bay fortunately.

Grow up, Sport. The guys pet just got battered in a bad accident and the verdict still isn't in on whether its really ok or not.

    Try and contain yourself.

My ex had a similar cat in the motor incident. But this cat was stuck in the fan belts. She got him out and took him to the vet while I was at work. She never called to let me know so when I went home and saw bloody towels and rags everywhere I flipped out.

The cat survived and healed up good as new.

Cats are the only domesticated animal that does not have a master/slave relationship with man. Cats choose who they live with, unlike any other domesticated animal.

Trey - Hope the cat turns out to be fine and only has minor injuries.

Who says you have to love cats to be an animal lover, I hate cats they are pushy & annoying. I have compassion for all animals and have helped cats in distress - I just wouldn't take the nasty thing home afterward.:D

According to a friend who is going to school to be a vet Cats are also one of the only domesticated animals who will eat there owner if left w/o food due to a death of the owner. I found this hard to believe but he swears by it, one day w/o food and they wil dig in. I am a heavy sleeper and sometimes forget to feed my dog - I don't need no cats around.:)

    back to bone stock.
wow, i just read this entire thread! technically, the thread title is incorrect. the op beat the shit out of the cat with a tacoma..

glad the cat is ok. i'm not a cat person, but my wife is..which means of course..I'm a cat person. her two cats have broken down my dog only fence. they are pretty cool. my wife would kill me in my sleep if i did that..i would have to find that cat ASAP and drive it to the vet, making ambulance noises with my mouth out the window.

Don't get to comfortable, I responded to a well fair check on a residence years ago and found the home owner had passed and his dog survived by consuming part of him (don't ask which part). I guess the mutt couldn't dial for take out. Pretty disgusting though.
