    This has happened to me at least 3 times since buying a 2020 Tacoma. It never happened with my 2016 Tacoma. When I have my iPhone connected via cable to the USB outlet my phone or the truck sporadically dials 911. I did a quick internet search on the issue and didn't find anything. Thoughts?

    Thanks you! That is probably the culprit. It's weird that it has only happened when plugged into the USB port in my truck. Can't explain that. I normally use bluetooth, but once in a while I switch to the cable when bluetooth and/or the wireless charger is being unreliable.

    I have disabled all of the emergency call stuff. I grew up in the 80's when we didn't wear bicycle helmets and we rode in the back of pickups.

    I did that too! Next door neighbor drove a truck while I was tied with a rope hooked up to the bumper or hitch. I was dragged on the gravel driveway. Eek. I am fine since that day.
