My 08 taco starts but runs real rough. The other day it would shut off and the gauges would go all wonky then it would work again. Thought it was ground cause my battery terminals were green. Cleaned them up and the next morning went to start it and it runs real rough almost like it is out of time or coils arent firing properly. Anyone have this issue or know something about it

Check your battery voltage, i had a battery that showed good but was bad, truck run real shitty when the right voltage wasnt get put out, it took a couple of days before it showed bad, especially if it is slow turning over

When you disconnected the battery all of the ECU Settings were lost and the truck has to be driven a bit to relearn.
