So my leveled Tacoma with 265 75 16 looks tiny next to my coworkers 2016 4Runner with icon lift and 285 70 17 tires.

I mean, that's what having tires 2 sizes above yours and a lift will do.

Are you gonna be unhappy unless your truck is bigger than your coworker’s truck?

How much lift in the front to make it perfectly level? I assume 1”?

I have 884 ome springs with bilstein 5100s.
I’m not unhappy with my truck as it does most everything I need. I already have a lifted f350. It was just surprising how much bigger the inch taller and 20mm wider tires were in person.
The Tacoma is my “practical” truck.

And mine still has a little bit of rake.
That way when it’s loaded for the smaller runs it’s still good to go. The big truck is for camping. I wish it were stock height, but bought it as it sits. 6 inch lift and 35s. I’d much prefer leveled with 35s on 16s or 17s.

I think you’re right. His may not be taller, but his Tacoma is longer.

    4Runner is a certified “chick’s truck”. Don’t feel threatened.

You’ve got an attached caravan! I have never seen anyone tow 2 trailers before...

Been doing it for years. It’s legal in Idaho. My previous 2012 Powerstroke towed it much better than the old v10, but the newer diesels with emissions put you in a damned if you do and damned if you don’t situation. So I pulled the emissions crap off. Ran great, but didn’t use the diesel to its potential but 10 times a year and then the “emission tester” I knew that could pass me, went away so I’d have to put the egr and exhaust back on every couple years. So I sold that truck and bought the 2000 f350 and the Tacoma. But damn did I love that diesel.
Ended up selling to a guy that lives in a county with no emission testing. Here in Idaho only certain counties require emission testing with mine being one of them.

A stock 4Runner looks taller than a stock Tacoma, it’s just a deeper vehicle suiting the kids, groceries, and the golden retriever better.

    Don’t feel threatened!

Well went out 4 wheeling with the same guy today. Had a blast. About 3 hours or more on some off road trails. Good times.
    More pics to come.

Can’t back up more than 5 feet. Haha!! You unload the side by side and then unhook the back trailer, then back in! Only had to unhook the back trailer once to turn around when I wasn’t planning to when I made a wrong turn heading to a camping spot.
