How'd you set the input sensitivity on the sub amp? Maybe a picture of the amp settings would help?

Aside from knowing how the sensitivity was setup, that looks like it shouldn't effect output. Is the protect light lit up or is it a figment of my imagination?

Have you confirmed that the sub is in the correct polarity? I.e. does it move out and not in when the bass hits? Also, I'd make sure the sensitivity is set properly so you know you're not going to clip at higher outputs. Then you may be able to make some adjustments in the TWK for gains. Just for kicks if you could grab one more picture of your latest TWK tune sheet over all, I'm sure someone could get you pointed the right direction.

I don't agree with how you have done this because when you link EQs together like you have it here, you are preventing the ability to adjust similar speakers at the same time, like L/R Tweeters or L/R Woofers. You have your EQs linked but EQ1 is routed to tweeter and EQ2 is routed to the midrange woofer for the same channel. You are also going to end up applying unnecessary EQ corrections to frequencies outside of the range of the tweeter and woofer since you have them linked.

If you UNLINK those EQs that's fine, but you don't have the ability to link the EQ for both tweeters or both woofers and adjust them together.

    Use EQ1 & EQ2 for Tweeters
    Use EQ3 & EQ4 for Woofers

You are going to want something more like this because you don't have separate inputs for tweeters and mids.

Yes, that would be the way to go IMO. Did you run through the JL 9 Step process for setting your amplifier input sensitiviy on both amps?

I did set the gains on the amps by jl audio chart with my volt meter and played the test tracks i downloaded from there site.I dialed them in on how much voltage jl audio said to use for the jx amps.

Are you saying there's a problem with the sub, or are you just thinking you need to EQ it some for the sake of applying EQ to the sub? Normally, there's not much that needs done to a subwoofer if anything.

That is like anti bass. Zero dB gain would be fine across the board or maybe a dB or 2 from 45 to 65. You’ve essentially tuned ALL bass out of the subs.
