My Tacoma is a LX. Is that different from a Sr5?

    SR5 nowadays mean absolutely nothing. I have seen SR5 Single Cab with a bench seat, solid back window, no tilt wheel, AND no Air Conditioning. And I've seen SR5's full loaded with full power options, 4WD on demand, etc.

    Pretty much what I got out of it.Look at the piece of paper that it came with when it was brand new.they say the lx doesn’t have chrome etc.But just read and compare.

    Don't part with it I think it's a perfict setup for the pickup. Trust me put 390k on my 93. Only issues front diff oil pan, 3 radiators, n 5 or 6 clutches. Tried teaching my ex how to drive a manual. And this is what my daughter drove till she turned 18 n I gave her her mom's car.

    Yeah the 3vz-f which is what the 5vz-fe is actually based off of was what the old pre tacomas had.

    The 3.0 actually had known head gasket problems which was adressed with the 5vz-fe

    Yep.But in that era you’re better off with a 22re or a Nissan v6
