Thanks for all the help! She wasn't laying on the keys. But it somehow happened. But at least we know it has autostart.
Funfact: I can't get it started with autostart

Since it's just one button that needs to be pushed (probably held down for 2+ seconds or something like that) it'd be very easy to do. I've locked and unlocked mine before when I've been working around the house with the key in my pocket, but never started it because mine requires you to push the lock button 3 times in 5 seconds or something like that.

How does opening the trunk and engine start give you "turbo", does the trunk act as a spoiler giving you more downforce? Lol.

Anybody with a half of a brain knows that what you claim is impossible. A vehicle cannot start by on its own ever. Even if you have a remote start someone has to press the button to start it.

I pray you are not dumb enough toi believe that it started on its own.

I guess I see where I should have read the entire thread before posting. Seriously I hope you didn't think it started on its own.

There is a feature where if the air temperature drops below a preset temperature, it self starts and runs for a programmed number of minutes and then shuts down.

Also, just for information in the future, if it's running by remote start or self start, stepping on the brakes will shut it off.

You better disable the flux capacitor or the truck will drive off on it's own!

    Great. Never heard of that.

Next question is Why would you want to have the truck start itself when you aren't there?
    Seriously.

This was exactly why I was shocked as well. As you have read right now, I purchased the car a few days before and didn't know it had a autostart. Also the keys where in my pocket (not near my girlfriend) and I was still in bed. So nobody triggered the autostart. I must be on the same frequency as someone else or something else must have triggered it. I don't know what it is. The good thing now is that I have a autostart and I already used it ;-).

When you said you can't figure out the autostart

I believe the answer lies in the picture you posted here:

Where it says the key / octagon symbol = Auto start

You may either have to hold that button for a number of seconds, or press it a certain amount of times 1-2-3-4etc...

I would also assume in the bottom of that picture is the "model number" of remote 1WSHR-16??? you maybe be able to look up the user manual online.
