That's cool it's your truck and I can't tell you what to do with it but it's all fun and games until a tire jumps off the bead and flips the truck. And thanks for the offer but I enjoy the 70F 80% Humidity weather here in SC.

I am laughing so hard... sorry I missed this when it was first posted!

ALL Tacomas have VSC & TRAC since 2009. The VSC and TRAC control button is one and the same! (see photo of it already posted for you).

Here is how you work the button to choose between TRAC/ AUTO LSD/ and VSC OFF (no TRAC or VSC):

Now it is time for this... !!!

Anyone else think of this video when they read this thread?

My $02... if you can't figure out how to disable traction control and get the truck to slide, nothing good will come out of you sliding.

We finally got some snow. So of course, I had to test the grippyness of my stock Dunlops.

I'm really impressed how this VSC feature works. Indeed, you can try really hard to slide the rear end around turns, it just won't let it happen. Weird feeling ABS kick in when your foot is on the gas.

The tires are doing surprisingly well for stock. But they will be replaced at some point, not soon enough.

My previous truck, Dodge Ram 1500, would slide like a mother around turns, when least expecting it, if not in 4WD. So, it's a nice surprise to stay true through a turn in snow, without 4WD on.

Now, off to a deserted grocery store parking lot to play with the VSC Off feature and slide this sucker! Fun, fun.
