Danny, I am not sure. Probably $30 shipped. Sorry for the slow response. My girlfriend's almost 17 year old well loved dog/family member passed away a couple days ago so things have been a bit shaken up in the household. The other issue is rather bitter cold and my workshop is unheated. It is still doable but requires a bit more planning. How much of a hurry are you in?

I'll take a set as well. I'm not much in a hurry as well, so whenever is good.

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys. I will work on it and keep you up to date. I am confident I can copy the working prototype that I have currently but to be 100% up front, the two of you are breaking new ground. I guess my pledge is to be as transparent as possible and to conduct myself the way that I would like to be treated. I appreciate your vote of confidence and will do my best to make sure you are 100% satisfied. Thanks guys.

Just a quick update. I pulled the bracket from my truck and have started making some templates. I can't run without a plate on the front so these templates will allow me to make the copies I need. I have picked up the supplies now I just have to get everything made and test to make sure everything will line up and work correctly. I will get this done as soon as I can. Monday is my only day of the week off so I am shooting for everything to be done by then.

Nothing ever seems to go as quickly as you would like and expect. An unexpected trip to the vet stole some time from me today. The good news is I have one completed except for final test fitting and drilling and tapping the license plate mounting holes. I wanted to do the final measuring on the truck to make sure everything was even and looked good. Unfortunately darkness halted the final step. I expect to have a finished product ready tomorrow. I will try to get it in the mail tomorrow and that should be possible unless I hit an unexpected snag. Worst case scenario is shipped on Wednesday.

Making templates has taken more time than I anticipated. I hope you guys will think the finished product is worth it. I will send you a PM shortly to gather your information. Thanks for your patience.

Aaron, like I indicated. No hurry. We all have lives too and totally get it. I for one, just appreciate the work you are doing. Plus it's just plain cold and crappy here for me to even think about working on the truck.

How? Any worries about someone walking by and grabbing it off the truck?

Thanks Danny! It was fun putting everything together. I had not considered riveting the pieces together. I am going to have to explore that option. Thanks for the suggestion. That could simplify the construction process a bit.

I guess not? You wouldn't know it had Velcro on it if you didn't look REALLY closely.

Looks good and looks like it fits well. Are you happy with the bracket, ease of installation, etc? How long did it take to install?
