It's all the same in the end.
even if you kept your other truck, it's only a matter time before something breaks and you have to fix it.
NEW parts are junk and no one cares.

The best thing you can do with any vehicle is USE IT.
Don't treat a vehicle, especially a Tacoma, like it's an investment. USE IT.
Get every penny you can out of it. And don't make ANY unnecessary modifications.
You'll only be wasting your time and money.

If little things break that don't affect the truck, leave them broke.
Drive the truck until it no longer makes financial sense to fix it.

I wash my truck, I do regular maintenance, and I drive the hell out of it.
    Nothing more........

Your truck is PAID FOR. Drive it until it quits.

Shooter, are you sure you're on the right website? That's an awfully reasonable mindset for TW, where people pay good money to replace perfectly good parts on new trucks, and trade in 2-3 year old vehicles on essentially the same vehicle.

    Some of those are easy:
    Wear your seatbelt
Turn off pre-collision warning (or adjust it)
    Don't use the cooled seat

A lot of the other stuff is standard Tacoma fare. Toyota only changed the price to a luxury level; the fit and finish on my second gen was pretty cheap as well. The appeal is a well-built, easy to work on truck, not something for nothing.

The seat belt alarm is twice as loud and long as my 2015

collision control takes several steps every-time you drive.

dont use something new you paid for ?

thats not a solution thats stupid

it does not seem to be well built inside or out.

i didtnt ask for your advice on what to do - i just gave my opinion after three tacos .

    Enough for now
Do you not wear your seat belt or does the alarm go off with a dog or bag in the seat?
