    So we are right in the bottom east corner of Minnesota. Thinking about headed up toward Duluth. Other than the movie Fargo I have no idea what Minnesota is like. suggestions are welcome! We are here... :help:

    I've heard Minneapolis is a pretty cool place to wander around and has a decent beer scene if I remember right.

    If you're headed through SD, Rapid City has a pretty cool town square / boardwalk kinda vibe with a concert series and stuff when I drove through.

    I’m actually hoping to do another trip in a couple years up through Canada to Alaska. I also have a couple guns and the pup with me so I’m a little unprepared for a border crossing.

    Duluth is a beautiful area. Matter of fact, the whole north shore of Lake Superior is awesome. Very scenic. The scenery starts to change noth of Minneapolis area. A lot more lakes and pine trees. I've seen moose,bear, wolves and a crap load of porcupine around the Duluth area. If you Take the North Shore to Grand Marais, check out the Gunflint Trail. (Watch out for Moose)
    If you make it up north of Duluth, there is a Black Bear sanctuary in Orr, MN up closer to Voyageurs National Park. And International Wolf Center/sanctuary in Ely, MN
