That’s the next trip I want to do. Always wanted to drive up to Alaska. Just looked up the magruder corridor.. never heard of it before but it looks sweet! Might try to do that on a weekend so I can get a couple other rigs to join.. looks awesome!

Trying to plan our route a little bit.. is November too late for Moab and Colorado wheeling? Or should I get down there sooner than that?

Depends on where you want to wheel in Colorado...but most of the high country will start to be covered in snow, and a significant amount of trails will be seasonally closed. Judging from the behavior of geese, bees, wasps, beetles, and cicadas in my area I can only assume winter is going to hit hard and fast this year.

November is a great month to mess around in Moab. But...

If you make it out here to the west coast give us a shout in SoCal. There are tons of places to off road and lots of guys/gals that would be happy to show you around.

September seems to be the ideal time to wheel Colorado. High mountain passes are still open and some have just cleared the snow from the year before. Of course, you absolutely need to do the touristy ones: Black Bear Pass and the Alpine loop (Cinnamon Pass and Engineer Pass). Also, the road from Crested Butte to Marble (can't think of the name) has the infamous pic of the cabin. Google result says that it is Crystal Mill.

Speaking of boom sticks, you avoiding the lesser states with spitball laws? Because if I was doing what you are, definitely carrying everywhere every day.

Yeah most of those states are up by ny and I’m sure not going back there.. as far as California, they will be getting locked in the tool box in the bed and hopefully I don’t get searched lol.
