    Markus,
A complete list of issues you’ll have with the Taco after your trip is complete would be very informative for the rest of us!!

Standard king size is 1/2” by 2 3/4. I put a 3” in just now so I’d have enough threads for a lock washer

Keep in mind that some of these issues I should have taken care of before I started this trip but so far... Iv done both front bearings and a front cv, my grill fell apart (I put it together so my fault there lol) and the tires are taking a beating.. other than that it’s holding up well. I’m also on 35s with wheel spacers and lockers with armor and all that crap so everything wears out quickly.

Considering we run toyotas, pretty much nothing should be directly caused by the trip itself. Mods would cause potential issues though.

    Edit: well, there ya go.

As long as you keep posting what you encounter we’ll have an idea. Just saying we have a good opportunity to field test a Taco.
    Cheers!!

You could also reach out to people like Ken Hoglund on IG. He's a local here in the SLC area and probably has more dirt miles than the rest of us combined. Solid guy that is always glad to talk trucks.

Very true.. most of the issues Iv had have been the direct result of mods, or hard wheeling. Iv broke 3 cvs, a steering rack, a knuckle, tie rods, leaf springs and a ton of other crap which would have never been an issue if I was just getting lumber at Home Depot lol

Geez man. I've pushed mine (what I thought was) pretty hard and I think I had to replace a bolt once.

The best part about breaking things is having an excuse to upgrade

since you are in colorado springs, a drive up pikes peak is neat. it's paved now, but still a cool drive. 15 bucks a person which kind of sucks.. but still a cool mountain drive.
