They finished it quick and are now out wheeling in a badass Taco. They are not back yet so they keep telling you " not done" with the test drive.

Got the truck back.. it’s fixed correctly and they stuck to their quote. I do need to tighten up the shoes a bit so the E brake holds better but nothing is leaking and the bearing is quiet now. Looks like they got the drums straight from Toyota cause they were 1/3 the total bill. I’m annoyed it took 2 days but I’m happy it’s done and I can get the show back on the road. I can’t thank @Gunshot-6A enough for letting us camp out in his house while we sort out the truck issues. Nicest guy you’ll ever meet and his dog his awesome and has a beard. Tomorrow morning we will be heading into Idaho for some camping. Hopefully will make it up to Washington within a week.

You can come to California next and get a 600 dollar brake job in Hollywood, no courtesy reach around either. :D

That’s a deal in California! They gotta get rid of those nasty not environmentally friendly brake pads. Ewwww

    Sadly this is common practice.
Back when I worked for an auto part company the commercial side wound call ask there cost( below retail) and the list price. They would then charge the customer list price. I bet of you go the the part store and look up that drum the list price will be a few dollars more than they charged you.
