I was checking @ToyotaProShop hidden bumper light bar with mounts and wiring harness for $150. Thought it was too good tone true, so I tried checking out to see if there were hidden fees and accidentally ordered it. Contacted customer service to cancel the order and they offered to discount 10% if I kept my order.

    Ordered: Oct 24
    Wire Harness received: Oct 27
    Light bar received: Nov 2
    Mounts received Nov 6

I didn't know they were coming in three packages from three different suppliers. I never received emails but had to contact customer service for tracking numbers.

No instructions or anything was in the boxes. Once again, I contacted customer service and they sent me here.

After installing the mounts according to the provided web site, the light bar was too low and partially blocked by the lower bumper. Once again, sent an email to customer service and they recommended mounting the bracket's lower hole to the upper outer crash bar bolt.

The wiring instructions were written for a generic light installation on a F-150 so I had to use my best judgement to use the provided wiring harness. Once I connected everything according to the instructions and punched the hole through the firewall, no joy. Not sure if it's my fuse block or if I'm missing something. I need to go through a more extensive troubleshooting process before I reach out to customer service, once again.

I read a lot of posts saying avoid ToyotaPropShop and "buy cheap, buy twice". Instead of paying three times the amount for known quality, I took a chance. The process has been strange but I have yet to see the results. I will certainly post an update once I get the light bar working. I just wanted to give some more information about this site.

Imho these places are drop shipping the same stuff so the difference between vendors comes down to basic customer service.

Ordered a pro grill from these guys. Got confirmation, but didn’t get tracking number or anything. Waited a week, contacted them. Took about a couple days to respond. They sent me the tracking, come to find out they tried to deliver it 3 times to my work place (where I wanted it to be shipped.)

No instructions or anything. But YouTube helped.

All in all, would not order from them again.

My experience has been to avoid doing business with any company that has a claim to superiority in it's name. i.e. Pro this or that, Quality something or another, etc. Sure there are a few exceptions, but big claims combined with I never heard of you is a non starter.

I will be curious to see how this turns out for you as I have been looking to get one of these light bars and mounts, but did not want to pay the $300-$400 price for one. If it’s just poor customer service I can deal with that if the price is right and it works. Heck I’ve been waiting almost a month (after tracking was provided) for a fuse cover from one of the reputable vendors here on TW. Sometimes you just have to ride it out regardless of who you buy from.

I ditched the wire harness they sent me. I ended up ordering a single leg wire harness from CaliraisedLED and received a dual leg harness by mistake on Nov 21. I finally received the single leg harness today and put it all together this afternoon. I also ended up getting a Bumper Light Bar OEM switch and pocket switch panel from CaliraisedLED as well.

The light bar just came with a red and black wire, so I clipped the Deutsch connectors off of the wire harness and crimped on some blade connectors. I followed the Caliraised instructions for splicing the OEM switch to the harness. Lastly, I used a wire tap and spliced the red backlight wire on the OEM switch to the green wire of the cargo light switch, which allows the light bar switch to illuminate with the other dash lights.

In hind sight, I probably spent the money I saved on the new wire harness and switch. But the 32” crew light bar and mounting brackets work well. I will have to modify the grill air deflectors to get them back in over the mounting brackets, but I’m quite happy with the end product.
