I was wiring up a boat trailer and apparently there was a short and now my trailer lights don't work at all. I figured that I blew a fuse so I checked all the fuses and they all looked good. I don't know what to do now.

Did you actually test each fuse with a test light or DVM? I've seen many blown fuses that actually looked good.

Also use the DVM to test each pin on the truck connector.

If they don't work, the problem is upstream.

If they work as they should, the problem is in the trailer harness.

Last time I had this issue, the ball was rusty and wasn’t allowing a good ground
