Replace the pinion seal and have the drive shaft checked for trueness. Looks like you just got some crap in the diff oil and it started puking at the pinion seal first. Driveshafts are hard to bend mine is all candy caned to hell and it's still not bent enough to screw with anything.

yeah that's what my old man originally told me. We're gonna take it to the shop and they'll check the drive shaft and everything and take it from there. I'm not too stressed about it.
