2003 Toyota Tacoma 2.4 RWD Automatic
Greetings from the other New York,

I have a 2003 Tacoma, 2.4L 2WD Automatic. It has 165K on the odometer. I seem to have a fairly large oil leak behind the oil pan. I noticed it during an oil change. The oil doesn't appear to be coming from the front crank seal, but may be coming from the rear one.

I have not done this service on a Tacoma, but I have done it on another car: Miata.

    1. Any ideas on other causes? Tips on locating the leak correctly?
    2. Does anyone know of a site or video link for pulling the transmission? (assuming the leak is the rear seal.
    3. I will likely be doing the work, since the cost looks pretty steep

I appreciate the help. Look forward to the responses
