Is this even worth fixing? Learning how to weld and then doing this? Or should I wait for a red 6ft bed on marketplace. I think the previous owner lived on a New Hampshire beach lol.359C4587-CD09-4E04-B616-81A002CFFCFB.jpg 48F5D284-4B72-48D6-9AFE-B9C77CA55509.jpg

Man! That is the worst I have seen. The beds don't rust out before the frames do, how is that?

Luckily the previous owner took advantage of the recall while he could.

It's cancer.... Rust will find a way to deteriorate over time unless the PO moved after the recall.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Myself I would fix that depending where you live it could be a long wait to find a replacement

That is common what happens is a mix of mud and winter chemicals gets flung into those locations and stays there for a very long time getting damp every rain.

Not worth it imo. I had very similar rust and pretty much rebuilt the fenders on each side, had rust bubbles within a year. Wait for a good condition bed

Build it into a flat bed.
