    They were white. I think there is one set that is still chrome. I'm getting to them. Just takes forever to tape them off.

    Looks good...so are you going to do the ones on the door?
    Im a fan of plasti dipping them just because you dont have to take them off and its reversible and you dont really have to mask much off for the job, it just peels off.

    When I did the fender this was a start. Ended up taking off the whole truck before starting to paint the fender flares.

    Never thought about it honestly. Figured I'd accent them all red. Then get some blue tint hids in the future and have a patriotic truck. Lol. I guess they wouldn't look bad in black though. I've never really plastic dipped though.

    If you woulda got red plasti dip that jib on your tailgate yould have been 90 times faster. Not that what you did dosent look good, cause it does!

    Haha. My reason for taping it off is because everything going in this photo was free. The paint, the bags and the tape. Or I could pay for other stuff. I am broke. But I still do little things when I can.

    It will look better after 4 coats or so. I have a lot more time than money when I'm at the station so I do a lot of the more tedious stuff here.
