AFE oil free drop in, Secondary removed, tint, front D-rings, Toyota bed mat, Undercover tonneau, TRD seat covers and floor mats, Pioneer speakers, Westin Platinum bars, Fumoto oil valve, short antena, Nifty Xtreme's, TSB leaf springs, Bilstein 5100's set at .85" in the front
After the TSB and the stock tires mine is 6.5" from the top of the tire to the fender in the rear and 4.5" in the front. So I figure 5100's set at the middle position would work just right still being just a bit tall in the tail. I took measurements before and after the TSB from the ground to the top of the reciever hitch and I only got .75" of lift. I love the way the truck rides now and only want to level it out a little. Thanks for the info.

you'll be really happy with the ride, especially if you dont max out the shock. one piece of advice, get all 4 at once. i just got the front, and now i wish i got rear shocks too (the rears are not adjustable, they only come in stock length). the dampening effect of the 5100's is great and i can tell a difference when my front end goes over a speed bump and then the back end. i'll put them on the back eventually but it would have been cheaper and easier to do them all at once

Ok, i took pics today and loaded them into my Gallary. I'll have to take some more soon after i get my new wheels (if i get my wheels). I cant wait till the Meet so i can get some action shots :)

I tried to find something in the back yard to prop up one of hte front tires on but all i had was a tiny little stump. it didn't really do anything. Anyway, i'll see if i can figure out how to get those pics in this thread so you babies will stop whining

Anyway, as you can tell there is still plenty of room in the wheel wells for 33's, but the next size up is also wider, and that is the biggest tire i can fit on my rim without rubbing the A-arm.

You don't have to pose Tacomas, they are just naturally photogenic. The truck looks good.

Now you need to get bigger tires to fill that wheel gap.

Thanks, i figure its probaby only a few mods away from being able to compete with yours ;)

official truck of the Northern Alliance? you mean a Taco? i dont think so, the Taco is the official truck of people that have good taste

yeah, thats where the new wheels come in, but even then it will be a while before those get replaced. I'm not sure i really want bigger tires though. I like having plenty of room in teh well for sharp turns and room for the tire to travel. Plus i dont actually NEED bigger tires, and they willjust burn more gas. is it really worth it to hurt your mileage for something you dont actually need? points to ponder.... but for now these will do what i want and they are a huge step up from stock

I think it looks damn good just the way you got it, but I can't wait to see it with the rims on it.
