dude.... that is something that I cannot help you with there. you have a very serious problem and I haven't ever heard of that problem. Only thing I can guess is your ecu module.... I don't know. that is some crazy shit you've got going on with your taco. Sorry I couldn't help but I had to post something to be sympathetic for you. haha. STAY SAFE!!!!!!

I don't understand how the steering wheel can lock if the key is in the ignition and turned on.

hmm the closest ive got is my auto trans slips gears when i really floor it (like pedal to the floor). itll accelerate for a second then when it goes to shift, the next gear doesn't engage and it just revs like in neutral until i let off the gas

my friends ford did this once. he went to accererate across a busy 4 lane street and as soon as he stepped on the gas, his f250 went like 10 feet and shut off. it got stuck in the 2 innermost lanes and wouldnt turn on. luckily he didnt get hit but i laughed my ass off at him. damn fords

well i thought the same thing. but you know how somtimes you will go out to your car or truck and you move the wheel a little when it isnt on an it locks. it only hapens after it dies when i am turning. so when its of or dead, then the wheel locks. i dont know what the deal is...

when the engine stops the power steering goes out. thats why it feels like the steering locks up. But it might be something with the air intake, if it's clogged and you try and give it too much gas then the engine can't get enough air so it's kinda like a stall in reverse?

but that would probly be a good place to check first?
