My truck was damaged by some drunk women fighting, caught on dash cam

i just posted another recommendation a second ago but ill say again, if you just want something affordable and don't need a rear camera, the viofo a119 v3 just came out and has FANTASTIC video quality, 1600p quad HD+, and supports buffered parking mode. viofo is a chinese company but really changing the game when it comes to good dashcams with features typically only found in high end korean dash cams.

 

I have the F50, picked it up for $50 (original $100) at Best Buy last year and it’s a good dash cam! I’ve been thinking of enabling the hard wired feature with these dash cams. I wish we could upload files here for videos because the $50 I spent on the dash cam saves my ass when I got side swiped.

i know right? a couple guys on reddit were giving me shit for it but i was visiting from out of town and my friend lived in an apartment above the bar. it was grandmas marathon that weekend which is one of the biggest marathons in the country so the small town of around 80,000 blows up with tens of thousands of more people and parking is what it is. it was the only place for me to park within walking distance of where i was staying.

 

At least you caught it. I don't have mine on the whole time I park. Maybe I should. I have recorded a fair number of reckless drivers, *47 , and passed video along to police though. It's nice having proof.

Basic Yi dashcam, but it works well.

You need a sideveiw camera. I wanna see the whole smack-down.

 

I use to have side cams using two blackvue 2ch systems. It required too much power tho so I nixed it.

I hate to be the one to say it but your dash cam did nothing to help you here. You got no license plates. No Positive ID... it just caught the incident that damaged your truck.
