My Turtle Pace L/t build

Bought a new battery.
Put the skid plate back on, stripped the truck down a bit and replaced the headlights with some bhlm. I think its a much cleaner look







annd I also have my new dd...

 

I love the 2nd gen. Had a 2002 AC in the same color. Sold it when my wife and I were married. She and I both had children so a minivan was the logical choice.

 

Thats a rough trade haha my needs are changing so the 1st gen has sold and the 2nd gen in this build thread is for sale too but it looks much different than the last update, I haven't had time to update the build thread.

 

Safe to say it looks like a completely different truck now. So much time and work has gone into it. Im trying to sell it now to fund going back to school for the time being, maybe Ill build another one in the future. Had to do an update on this thread though haha

 

what color is that? Anvil from a Jeep? or MGM? kind of hard to tell from the pictures.

I only ask because I painted my last car Anvil, and it looks very similar

 

I forgot the actual name but I believe its MGM its not quite anvil, I think your color is a slight shade more grey. Looks great on your car, I would've been happy with either!

 

If my DD sells I might just drive the tacoma again for a little while and do some trips with it, if I do ill probably put some new walker evans wheels on it and a stock exhaust.

The one thing I never liked about the truck was the exhaust (dumped flow master type), mostly because I prefer quiet/stock exhaust these days, at least on a tacoma. I ended up changing about everything on the truck except that lol

Have a few guys pretty interested in it as of late, so we'll see where it goes. Lots of interest but lots of guys not getting approved for financing unfortunately!
