I really liked the Ultra Maverick black and silver rims that I bought, but I hated the faux cheap looking push in plastic screws that were supposed to make them look like a bead locker.

So I removed all of the plastic screw plugs and turned 40 custom aluminum hole plugs on my lathe with integral pins, that I powder coated semi gloss black and attached to the rim with Loctite retaining compound

It was a lot of work, but it completely changed the looks of the rims and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
