I just bought a used 2018 crew cab SR. When they handed me the keys there were no keyless entry remotes. I asked about it and they told me it didn't come with the feature. What are my options to get the feature installed?

    Welcome!

You could try calling around to some stereo shops. Most of them will install keyless entry/alarms/remote starts. My truck had a Viper remote start with keyless entry installed when I bought it, and it is great. The system is fairly inexpensive (under $100 for a basic system with not many features), but the install will probably cost quite a bit. The only way to know what it will cost is to call around and get quotes.

I just picked my SR Extended Cab. Same issue. The very young guy who showed me how everything worked suggested that IF the truck is equipped with power locks and windows, it can be programmed with fobs. He suggested that the dealer can supply the fobs for $399 or there are aftermarket with programming instructions you can find on internet. Anyone have experience in this regard?

Welcome aboard. Don’t know about the fobs.

    Good luck.
