Bob had talked about starting to charge at least postage, simply because demand is so high for them, but not sure that he has.

Just PM and he'll let you know. :)

Way to go!!! I'm just guessing some parts are bolt-ins. I know Toyota & Lexus are same family. Back in my day I Combined a 1979 Malibu & GNX. Took some doing, but in the end. I swaped out 267 3spd and ended up with a 4 door BU with a GM blowen cooled V6 w/4spd crusher, with the traction bar from the trans & I think it was a 3.42 rear. The GN gague cluster snaped right in. Just telling the crap I've done so U know when I say.WAY TO GO!!! I'm not blowing air up u ass.

lol thanks man. some stuff bolted up but there was a bit of modification. the 1uz motor only came with an auto trans which i did not want. i ordered a conversion kit from Austrailia to turn my 4 speed auto trans into a 5 speed manual. that made it a little easier because i didnt have to shorten my driveshaft and my truck was a manual before i did the conversion so the clutch pedal and all that crap was already there

Do you have an opinion on how the iForce engine from the latest Tundra will fit into a 2nd gen Taco?

How is your vehicle smogged since you have installed a non factory engine? Any other legal issues with swapping an engine, like with dmv?

im pretty sure they are DOT. not 100% sure but have never had any problems with the cops with them. i made my own motor mounts

    thanks man. i miss it

i was going to do this swap but cant find a 5.7L motor anywhere around here

i had to get the truck e-tested (smogged as you guys call it) but because its a non factory motor its classified as "hot rod" category so there was no problems. and no problems except the my heavy foot
