i just modified the tacoma engine mounts. and i doubt you would be able to use your existing tranny unless you get an adapter. what engine are you thinking about using? if you want to use a lexus motor, then a good site to do research on is lextreme.com. TONS and TONS of swaps on that site.

Did you have any trouble fitting those wheels on?

the wheels fit perfect. i had a wider set of 18's on it before with a bigger tire and they hit the master cylinder so i went to these and have had no issues

I had a brain fart! I meant the wheels on the black one you did. Those are Lexus wheels, right? Found a few sets on Ebay and getting conflicted info on fitment. Thanks.

o ok. the lexus wheel fit fine but you have to bore them out because the tacoma hub is bigger then the lexus'. all you have to do is take them to a machine shop or something and you can usually get them done cheap. i did mine myself with a cheapo router.

Cool, thanks a lot for the info. I figured it be a different look, at least in my area at least. So, they don't center on the hub, just need to have enough clearance? Did you have to use special lug nuts? Thanks for all your help and insight!
