    The Story:
I bought my truck brand new with 8 miles on it. It was love at first site! (A lot like a women though, fall in love and then it takes all your money! JK!)

First Pic then with first mod!

A pic of it a year after i bought it with a Toytec 2.5" Spacer lift w/ AAL on 16" Dick Cepek DC_1 Black wrapped in 33x10 R16 Maxxis Buckshot M/T
    [IMG]

    Nice
    [IMG]

    A few more...

    Mudding at Fort Benning
    [IMG]

The cause to this ^^^ That right side buried me to the frame.. it took somewiggling!

Kobalt Slim Line 1000 series Truck box Write Up.

I hated the chrome so i bought a quart of Herculiner. That stuff is amazing! (Make sure the weather is right or the drying process will be a pain in the @$$)

After i drilled out the rivets for the latches and the "Kobalt" name I took "Krookz" advice and sprayed a heafty amount of Clear coat on the inside of the box to prevent the aluminum from rubbing off on everything! Then i began to scuff! I went with a steel brush! Cheap and very effective!

Then I figured out a way to mount it. I bought 2 - 3" long 1/2" Carriage Bolts that fit perfectly in my track system. Then used a washer and a Nylon lock nut to secure it.

Then measured close to center where the bolts would lock into the notch in the track system and then drilled the whole!

After that i began to Herculiner it. Becasue weather conditions did not permit and i was very unpatient (3 days of Herculining later) i decided to finish (seal the herculiner) the box off with Textured satin black Rust-O-Leum spray paint. I did 90% Herculiner and then basically took the shine off with the paint.

The finished product! (I'll get a better picture soon.)

    Bed Lights
    [IMG]

Bed Lights (Not the greatest pic but it does light up the whole bed)

Bed lights on with pic of my 4" Speakers in the back.

Bed speaker lights... Don't judge.. (Ignore the music its all i had in my truck since my iPod got stolen)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcVsgpORgUU

I know it might seem a little stupid but the ladies LOVE it when you're crusin the strip during spring break in PCB! Besides.. It doubles for entertainment while tail gating!

Wiring Diagram for my Bed Speakers and the LED strip in the bed that with the Switch Turned on it provides GREAT lighting in the bed of the truck with the White lights turned off and the bed speakers on the Amber lights Jam out to the beat of the music! Tell me What you think!! If you click the picture then click it again in my album it will zoom in! (Not the greatest diagram but i'm no electrical major)

I ordered my hoop late so I had to take it to a weld shop to have them put it on..
