I finally decided to start a build thread. Nothing special, but I love every second of it! So to start out the story, i originally had a 2004 Tacoma TRD Xtra Cab 4x4. Unfortunately, I had a run in with some black ice and a retaining wall. I then moved to a Jeep Wrangler. It was okay, but it just wasn't a Tacoma. I have been looking for a double cab trd 4x4 tacoma 6 spd for almost 8 months. I finally found it today and made the deal. Here it is! let me know what yall think.

I bought it in 2012 with 22,000 on the odometer. I paid 22k which i think was a steal!

    Then started my antichrome movement.
I then debadged, Gibson exhaust, tailgate lock, 2011 headlights, Painted grill.

I also scored some MB 352 17x9 and 265/70/17 Terra Nitto Grapplers for $800 brand new.

Finally an update! Well I have been wanting to upgrade to 285s forever, not that the 265s looked thatttt bad. But i had so much tread left on my Nittos that i found it hard to pull the trigger. Well i ended up buying these off a fellow member for a great price. (9 hours round trip though...) The tires are KO2 265/75/16s.

Next up, fog lights, light bar, etc.

Let me know what y'all think about the headlight hoops. I was skeptical at first, but I think they look pretty good on the truck.

Hey guys, I am back! I didnt really work on my truck much since last time you saw it. I contemplated trading it in but i really like not having truck payments so instead, i decided to finish doing everything i planned and pushing ahead on the truck. Now on to the next stage!

First up, change out my wheels. 4wheelparts had 20% method wheels so i picked up a set of NVs. I was very close to going with bronze but decided to play it safe. Much better than the pro comps i was rocking before!
