Jesus Christ. I love climbing but I can't believe they don't have a Lad-Saf or Glideloc system up there. You don't have to keep stopping and moving hooks, just slides up as you go and catches if you fall.

"Now we've reached the base of the antenna" That's the ultimate, Are we there yet? I had to laugh when he said that.

    Man,

You'd have to have good balance to do that!!

I'm pretty darn sure I wouldn't have the guts to do that. It's really takes the right mindset.

    back to bone stock.

yea, they are required by law. we have them. if someone fell, the pain would come from sliding and hitting the bridge. the cushioney fall would be nice by comparison.

honestly, the cable is WIDE. and grippy,. slipping is next to impossible.

any potential interns for next summer. get your resume ready, get good grades. we may require an essay. depending on the budget, we may or may not have the ability to hire one. this summer's guy? get this, he volunteered.

Awesome view OP , I like heights , you get a lot higher than me , but everytime we frame a roof , the first thing I want to do is get up there and be the first to stand on the highest point .

I do it in a heartbeat. Looks like fun.

I was the crazy kid that worked on the scissor lifts and shook them back and forth at the top height.
