That’s awesome! however I would want the lip that holds the butt of the gun to be much deeper, or have two jaw clamps

Thanks. It's still available so it can be yours!

All the video showed was the lock portion swinging down to demonstrate how it functioned. Picture that cuff-lock dropping straight down to allow access. It's pretty slick. You can either tie it into a hidden 12v switch or you can do like I did if you have an aftermarket alarm/remote start system and tie it into the trunk pop output. This will allow you to use the trunk pop button to access your rifle which is a real cool party trick especially if you have it tied to your mobile phone.

Not sure why you would want that but you're welcome to configure yours however you want. This config is good enough for police cruisers everywhere so it was good enough for me. In fact, if anything, the stock retention was almost too much as it held the stock tight even with the lock disengaged. It takes a firm pull to get the rifle out as it's in there and held firm.

Do you know if it will work for a double cab? And is it adjustable for different length rifles/carbine/pistol? I want to use it for my ar pistol as it’s not legal to have loaded long guns in your vehicle here in PA.

Yeah, should work better in fact. The double cabs have full grab handles for the rear which is easier/better for securing it since you have access to full size bolts. The Access Cabs have little coat hook thingies which I used to anchor which is probably less secure ultimately than the larger bolts under the grab handles. The lock is adjustable for various lengths rifles as well. In Colorado, it's legal to have the magazine loaded in a long gun but not a round chambered which is an old poaching law that's still on the books. Otherwise it's 100% legal. Not sure of your local laws though but it sounds like you're up to speed on what's legal. Private message to discuss details if you're ready to buy.
