Just figured I would start a little place to document my mods to the truck :)

Soo i got it with about 90k miles on it, stock, excellent condition.

Disclaimer, I have owned a supercharged Cobalt for the last 5 years and dumped way too much money into it and modded EVERYTHING. On this truck I am not going to go overboard, it's time for me to move out and start my family and stuff lmao.

Plan is to basically make this truck 'OEM+', would love to dump an astronomical amount of coin into swapping a 2JZ in here!! But I'm probably not that guy. Lol. Wanna basically clean up the truck a little more, maybe different wheels, other than that not much you can do to make it quicker than supercharging it. Is E85 a simple tune-for solution for power? Or are new injectors needed?

    Anyway, mods so far:
    Bates exhaust (sounds key!)
K&N (for the 5+ hp its worth!)
    TRD badges (because TRD!)
    Bed cover
Window sill deals (i don't smoke anymore)
Painted interior plastics black, hate the grey and wanna do more with the carpets/seats
    TRD e-Gay shift knob
    RedlineGoods armrest cover
'EVO' mod front bumper, black out Xrunner badge, Toyota emblem & hoodscoop
Aux input, maybe a 10" sub later down the road.

    Currently on order:
EBC front brake package - any upgrades for the rear shoes??
New headlights + foglights, I am going to retrofit them with a D2S morimoto retrofit kit

PS for anyone interested see my fb page 'moonlit retrofits' as I am planning on expanding my business to the Tacoma world! Few quick pictures to capture it in time

Sorry added wrong link to my retrofitting page super excited to start making tacoma headlights. The oem ones just look.... hideous. lol. Cant wait to really make the front end look better and also obviously increase that light output.

Really need to find some higher performance drum brake shoes if possible. No, i'm not looking to do the disc conversion, i know that's considered a downgrade. But how to I upgrade the oem stuff?

Pulled the plug on snow tires for my 08 Civic SI wheels, which I will be (re)dipping white and fitting over 1" hub adapters that will stay on for the summer with the regular wheels.

Also got a set of weathertechs for the front.

Retrofits may be complete tonight/this weekend and are lookin siiickly!

    well here it is!
was going to have the flat part of the shroud facing inward all the way (about 45 degrees counter clockwise) but decided to give the truck the 'angry' look instead. hoping it looks okay haha

Installed along with tinted fog lights, air-ride assist in the back (valves placed in the little compartments in the bed to lift and lower the rear end) and a block heater. Chicago is COLD!

Highly recommned the fuel pump. A E85 rated pump. Walbro, Deatschwerks, and now Aeromotive has one.

As for the injectors, @Lucario Runner is making around 260 whp on stock injectors. From ~200 pre modding. If I could had the OEM injector size, I could calculate how much over head it has. Which makes me curious about his injectors. Since they have got to be nearing max duty cycle.

Being that the E85 requires about 35% more fueling you might be able to get away with the stock injectors, but you will definitely need a device to tune for the added fuel.

oh certainly! On my cobalt I was running 1000cc injectors (over double the OEM size) a pump that could kick out almost twice as much flow, a boost referenced return style setup and I was still 99% DIC by 8000 rpm on E lol

Dat power though. Would be nice to pick up some power in this truck.
